About Me

A lifetime of adventure

I’ve always been harder on myself about the small things than anyone I know, I’m not sure why. I‘ve spent my entire life trying to figure out who I am and what I am capable of never really adhering to convention. I didn’t deliberately try to be different, I’m still not. I believe we’re all the same and I’m just an ordinary human but that in itself is extraordinary. It took me a very long time to build the confidence to realise that simple truth was enough.

I set out to see the world and understand it an my place in it with my own eyes and experiences. Travelling in; the jungles & rainforest of Southeast Asia among many of it‘s islands, Across India and up into Rajasthan, Punjab, Kashmir & the foothills of the Himalayas. The cultural lessons and humility I gained developed a deep sense of connection to our environment and people. I travelled in Russia & much of Europe with aim of seeing as many countries as possible before I was 30, I’m still not finished!

Having not always lived a particularly healthy and productive lifestyle I dedicated my whole existence to self improvement and physical achievement, kicking the bad habits and replacing them with exercise and short term goals. I am living proof that life is what you make it.

Listing my adventures would be too long because everyday is a new adventure in many ways but I suppose my biggest achievements so far include; rowing the Atlantic (fully unsupported), cycling nonstop Paris to Cambridge, 3 stages of the TdF (Tour de France) over 12 solid hours on an official programmed spin bike, a variety of running events including the Paris marathon the day before Notre Dame burnt down & having a family. Having a family being my biggest and best experience to date.

I’m currently walking the entire coastline of mainland Britain during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
